See Lola Run

An Italian-American citizen who is not very much of either but lives in Rome, anyway, and is not really sure where she's going next or if she's going at all.

Lions and Tigers and Bears

For those who couldn't understand the last entry, or tried to babel-fish it and still didn't get the gist... (when did babel-fish become a verb?) I am leaving this evening to go camping with some people I volunteer with at USCRI. I spent all this morning getting laundry done so as to have something to wear. We are going for two nights, sleeping in a tent, grilling things. I'm excited!

I'm a little worried about rain and thunderstorms though.

So I won't be writing until I get back. When I do, i'm sure i'll have plenty of pictures and good stories to tell. I'll be back Sunday afternoon/evening... hopefully in time to see Jane who is coming up from Maryland. I miss Jane.

What else?

Oh yes. Finally got myself a PO Box so I can stop worrying about mail! Yay. I also made friends with the Postmaster. He appreciated my persistance (since I don't technically have an address anymore, and I can't use the Pine Street address ... it was hard to prove I wasn't I terrorist). Since 9/11 it's difficult to get a box without having a permanent residence on file. Finally, he was convinced I wasn't going to receive any top secret spy mail, and that he wasn't going to die of anthrax poisoning. We get on well now.

Just in case any of you silly geese feel like writing me.

Into the woods we go....
